It was business as usual for Emma Stone on Tuesday as she attended yet another premiere for The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro. Emma, 25, looked lovely wearing a stripy dress which had a chiffon skirt. The sleeve and neckline glittered with a tinsel embellishment and she wore matching metallic shoes.
The day before, the cast walked down the red carpet in Rome but this time, it was Berlin who got to host a glitzy do for the movie. Stone wore her red locks in tighter curls than usual and matched her lipstick to the red colour in the mid-section of her dress. Earlier in the day, the actress attended a photo-call in the German city wearing a light blue caped dress by Erdem.
Emma plays Gwen Stacy in the highly-anticipated movie, the love-interest of Peter Parker, played by her real-life boyfriend, Andrew Garfield. He too, was present on the red carpet and looked dashing in a blue suit with a lighter blue shirt and a patterned tie. The couple were joined by Jamie Foxx who wore a dark coloured suit and a matching polo-neck jumper – he plays villain Max Dillon/Electro in the movie.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 centres on Peter Parker as he struggles to balance high school with his secret superhero life, with a few new enemies thrown in to keep him on his toes. Andrew – a life long Spider-Man fan – is said to be signed on for one more instalment but it is not known if Gwen Stacy’s fate will mirror that of her comic book character.
‘It’s a miracle that I ever make it on stage or in front of a camera,’ Andrew recently told Entertainment Weekly. ‘I get riddled with self doubt. ‘But so does Peter Parker. That’s the reason why I adored him. Here’s a kid who feels like me and yet manages to drag himself into that spandex. He makes sure he gives everything he has.’
