Her hit show stresses the importance of talent over more superficial considerations. But Shakira proved it’s not just about The Voice as she strutted her way onto The Extra set in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The singer, whose vocal talents can not be doubted, let her legs do the talking as she arrived at Universal Studios in a pair of rather risque black thigh-high boots.
The 37-year-old looked confident as she arrived for her interview with Mario Lopez on Tuesday. Wearing a grey denim mini shirt dress, the star flashed her toned thighs. The black boots had a two-inch platform and clung to every curve of her legs as she strode across the car park.

Her famous long blonde waves were plaited to one side and she accessorized with minimal jewelry – letting the boots take centre stage. On Sunday, the Hips Don’t Lie singer was seen shooting a new advertisement for T-Mobile at the USC football field in Downtown Los Angeles, on Sunday.
Taking a brief tumble on stage in a similar pair of very high black platform boots, the pop star appears to have mastered the knack now. Although she’s back into the swing of performing, mother-of-one Shakira – who has a 15-month-old baby Milan – credits her son with changing her life.
Shakira gave birth to Milan in January of 2013, after being in a relationship with Gerard Pique since as early as 2010 when they met on the singer’s music video for Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) ‘Becoming a mother has forced me to slow down and reorganize my life to find a way to still be devoted to all the things I’m passionate about-music, philanthropy, and motherhood,’ she told Ocean Drive magazine.
She also discussed her relationship with the Spanish soccer player. ‘In my house, I would say the balance of power is fairly equal. Relationships have to have a give and take if they’re going to work in the long term,’ she told the magazine of her relationship with 27-year-old Gerard.

And the star says she feels completely different since her 2010 album Sale El Sole. ‘Since my last album, I’ve entered one of the happiest phases of my life,’ she added. ‘It was definitely a time of change, of rebirth, of self-discovery, and of course becoming a mother, which turned my world on its heads in the best of ways.’
