New Idea recently published a bait and switch article about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s custody battle. The tabloid claimed that Pitt is celebrating his big win.
But the article doesn’t exactly talk about the actor winning custody of his kids. Rather, it’s just about Pitt’s camp believing that the judge will grant him more time with his kids over the holidays.
“The thought from Camp Brad is that it would take a lot for California court to separate a dad, who’s obviously done so much work on himself from his kids, especially the twins,” the source said.
Gossip Cop also debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that the tabloid is known for publishing dubious stories about Pitt and other celebrities.
For instance, New Idea previously claimed that Bindi Irwin is having quadruplets with her husband, Chandler Powell. But the Australian personality confirmed that she just has one baby with Powell, and it’s going to be a girl.
New Idea also once claimed that the police officers arrested meghan Markle. But their story is really about Markle’s willingness to go to jail for protesting.
It is important to note that Brad Pitt and Jolie’s custody battle is still ongoing. And the judge will decide on the custody of their kids in December. As such, it’s unlikely for the tabloid to already know what’s going to happen to the case.
Additionally, Pitt and Jolie’s custody hearing is being kept private. So, the only credible information that the fans could get is from the A-listers themselves of their lawyers.
Gossip Cop also pointed out that tabloids such as New Idea know nothing about Pitt and his personal life. They previously claimed that the dad of six tapped Joey King to star in Bullet Train so he could introduce her to Maddox.
The tabloid also accused the Ad Astra star of faking his relationship with Nicole Poturalski. They also accused Pitt of using the 27-year-old model for publicity.
However, this is unlikely to be the case because no one even knows for sure whether Brad Pitt and Poturalski are really dating. The two went to France together and everyone assumed that they’re together.
