Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has hit back by calling for an end to the ‘body-shaming’ she has faced

Cheryl Fernandez Versini discovers herself making headlines for all the improper reasons, specially when her weight is not uninvolved, and today she’s called for body shaming to become made illegal.

The Xfactor judge hit out at trolls by claiming her weight loss was right down to suffering after losing her daddy, and has been compelled to reject allegations that she is too thin -inlaw.

In a brand new interview with ES Journal, Cheryl stated that she’s not focused on himself however the impression the accusations have on vulnerable people.

“I can take whatever they [the press] throw at me after 13 years, what worries me is what it’s doing to the younger generation. And some of the people writing this stuff are women. There is no sisterhood,” Cheryl said.

“The body shaming has to stop. It’s bulls***. Something has to be done, changed, even if it’s done in law.”

Cheryl, who married her beau Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a secret ceremony in Mustique after a three-month romance, found herself at the centre of fresh concerns after fans speculated over her health after watching X Factor.

“I am very happy and very healthy,” Cheryl insisted. “Every woman has a different body type and handles stress and grief differently. I was a ballerina from a child, so I have really good muscle memory. When I work out, I can look like a tennis player. If I don’t, I look different.”
