Truth About George Clooney And Amal Clooney Fighting Over Adopting A Refugee Child

George Clooney and Amal Clooney are, undeniably, one of the most followed couples in Hollywood today. The two first sparked romance rumors after they were sighted getting dinner together at Berners Tavern in London in October 2013. George and Amal exchanged their wedding vows on Sept. 27, 2014, in Italy.

Recently, a tabloid claimed that George and Amal are fighting over the idea of adopting a refugee child. The Lebanese-British barrister, reportedly, expressed her interest in taking in one of the children she has worked with in Iraq. However, “Ocean’s Eleven” actor is, allegedly, against his wife’s idea, which caused a series of fights between them.

“George believes that adopting a child who’s been through so much would require extra time, love and care, and he doesn’t think they can offer that kind of attention to a kid right now,” a source told OK! Magazine. “George feels it’s not the right time to add to their family. It would just be too stressful,” it went on.

While it is true that George Clooney and Amal Clooney are very much dedicated to help refugees through their organization, it does not necessarily mean that the lawyer also wants to adopt one. Besides the fact that neither of the lovebirds has confirmed any of these claims until now, OK! Magazine has been known for publishing stories based on the claims of its unreliable sources. Hence, these unverified reports should be taken lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, George and Amal are also rumored to be living separately because of their hectic schedules. There were even claims saying that their work commitments are taking a toll on their marriage already, which made lead to a divorce soon after.

An insider even told New Idea that Amal Clooney is worried that George Clooney’s line of job might affect his relationship with their twins, Ella and Alexander. “George isn’t the man she married and she’s feeling increasingly distant from him,” the informant claimed. “Amal says until she sees George trying to make changes and put her first, she’s not interested in making the effort either,” it continued.

However, George Clooney, through his representative, reportedly, told HollywoodLife.com that the divorce rumors are not true and were just made up. In fact, the “Batman & Robin” star, previously, revealed that he became a “much happier person” since he tied the knot with Amal Clooney, before adding that they have “a very happy life” together.
