Jennifer Garner reveals pressures she experienced while trying to sustain her relationships

Jennifer Garner recently talked about the pressures she has experienced while dating as a celebrity.

During her appearance in Tell Me More With Kelly Corrigan, Jennifer Garner admitted that it becomes difficult to sustain a relationship because of the pressures coming from other people.

“If it’s true and you are starting to be serious with someone and they start saying, ‘Well, when are they gonna be engaged?’ It’s almost like you just want to get there so that you can complete that and just maybe it will die down for a second,” Garner said.

The Peppermint star also said that it’s always kind of like chasing peace. After all, when rumors about an engagement are printed in the press, it feels as if it’s a done deal.

“And then it’s immediately ‘trouble in paradise.’ And it becomes almost a self-fulfilling prophecy,” she said.

Garner didn’t say exactly when she experienced the pressures of sustaining her relationships. But she recently got out of a two-year relationship with John Miller.

In August, a source told In Touch Weekly that Garner and Miller have mutually decided to end their relationship.

“They split up before L.A. went into lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic. Jen and John remain on friendly terms so there’s a possibility that they could rekindle their relationship in the future, but right now it’s over,” the source said.

But despite her recent split from Miller, OK! magazine claimed that Jennifer Garner is enjoying her time being single.

“Jen drinks wine and dances in her living room in pajamas. Jen loves spreading cheer on social media. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and figures people could use a little lightening up,” the source said.

The source also said that even though Garner doesn’t have a man in her life right now, she’s busy with other things like designing her new home.

“She’s enjoying the process of designing her own space. She envisions good times ahead when the lockdown is over, in a house that’s totally relaxed and kid-friendly and where friends will always be welcome,” the source said.

Garner also continues to be amicable with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. And the A-listers also co-parent their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Jennifer Garner said that the paparazzi followed her and Affleck everywhere they went.
