Meghan Markle confessed about her first celebrity crush

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first met on a blind date in the summer of 2016. Their relationship shortly grew leading to their wedding two years later. But, before becoming an official member of the British Royal Family, the Duchess of Sussex ran-in with celebrities in Hollywood.

She had several movie projects throughout her acting career. Among all, though, she gained prominence and obtained her big break on USA Network’s Suits. She played the role of Rachel Zane, the leading lady of one of the show’s main characters Mike.

Amid her popularity in show business, she had a few interviews wherein she revealed some of the details of her personal life. In one of those, Markle confessed about her first celebrity crush, according to the Daily Express.

Based on reports, Meghan Markle previously shared about her love for Beverly Hills, 90210. The American teen drama ran for ten seasons, from 1990 to 2000 on Fox.

She reportedly had a “soft spot” for one of the characters on the show. The Duchess of Sussex admitted that this was Dylan McKay, a character whom the late Luke Perry played on the series.

In one of her old interviews, she explained that Perry was her “first celebrity crush.” She also added that everyone had a big crush on the actor, particularly because of his role on 90210.

The publication recalled that the actor’s role was the son of a business tycoon. Apart from the hit series, Luke Perry also appeared in several films and television series, including Riverdale and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which are some of his final projects before passing away in 2019.

Meghan Markle may have not dated her first celebrity crush. But, she had a few romantic ties with celebrities and high-profile personalities in the past. Us Weekly released a report, listing some of the names that the former actress dated before Prince Harry.

The Duke of Sussex’s marriage to his wife is his first. The case is different, though, for the Duchess of Sussex as she first tied the knot to the Remember Me producer, Trevor Engelson.

The former married couple met in 2004 and tied the knot seven years later. However, the marriage did not last long as they ended their ties in 2013.

After Meghan Markle’s divorce, she rumoredly dated golf pro Rory McIlroy in 2014. Shortly before meeting Prince Harry in 2016, she and celebrity chef Cory Vitiello were reportedly seeing each other and even made joint appearances.
