Meghan Markle hits back at British tabloids over ‘completely untrue’ reports of their home Frogmore Cottage

Meghan has alleged that news stories surrounding the renovation of her and Harry’s new home Frogmore Cottage carried false information.

Meghan Markle is not going easy with the British press. After suing them a few weeks ago for publishing a private letter, the Duchess of Sussex and her legal team have slammed tabloids for their false coverage in new court filings. According to a report in BBC, Meghan has alleged that news stories surrounding the renovation of her and Harry’s new home Frogmore Cottage carried false information. The report revealed that the former Suits actress and her lawyers have slammed The Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday of fabricating stories in such a manner that ‘negatively’ portrays the lifestyle of Harry and Meghan.

It further reveals that the news stories published by these media outlets lied about the renovations carried out at Frogmore Cottage — their new home. The published pieces mentioned that Meghan and Prince Harry had a £5,000 (Approx Rs 4 Lakh) copper bathtub installed, spent £500,000 on soundproofing their Windsor home, built a yoga studio, an orangery and a tennis court, and added a new wing to their house, all with the help of the tax payers money.
