Melania Trump Models a $7,700 Snake Print Skirt to Meet Ecuador’s First Couple

Melania Trump made a strong fashion statement on Wednesday when she sported a $7,700 python-print skirt to welcome the Ecuadorian president and his wife to the White House, an event that has not happened in over 20 years.

FLOTUS was seen sporting a stylish Salvatore Ferragamo pencil skirt that she had paired along with a long-sleeve white blouse. She had also worn a bold green coat that she had left slung over her shoulders. She finished off her look with a pair of dusty pink heels as she showed off her toned stunning legs in the frosty temperatures of Washington DC.

Melania is a true fashionista who had actually chosen to alter the original design of the Ferragamo skirt before sporting it. The original skirt had a pale gold silk underlay that flowed out beneath the python pattern material for a few inches. When Melania wore the skirt, hers had the silk portion removed from the bottom.

She had also chosen to keep the focus on the python pattern that featured funky holes all over. Melania was not the only first lady to wear a bold outfit and Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno’s wife, Rocio Gonzalez, also sported a bold look. Instead of python, Rocio chose to wear a demure red and black chevron design.

She had paired the pretty skirt with a black blazer and had accessorized her look with a chunky gold brooch that matched her earrings. Her outfit matched with POTUS Donald Trump who had worn a traditional navy suit along with a bold red tie.

The Ecuadorian couple’s visit is a major milestone for relations between the United States and Ecuador. This is the first time in almost two decades that a chief of state from the small nation has met with a US president. Both Melania and Rocio joined their husbands in the Oval office. The two presidents were expected to discuss everything from money laundering and drug trafficking to academic collabs.
