Prince William, Kate Middleton cook up a storm; Meghan & Harry urge to help underprivileged ahead of Christmas

Take a look at how Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are spreading Christmas cheer.

December is here and celebs as well as royal families in the West have kick started the month on a rather festive. While Christmas pop-ups have already begun in many parts of the world, the modern royals in United Kingdom have also embarked upon a meaningful celebration. To begin with, Prince William and Kate Middleton joined hands with cooking legend Mary Berry to prepare some festive food for volunteers of charitable organisations who tirelessly work during the Christmas period. Taking to Instagram, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared pictures and revealed that they also hosted a Christmas party.

For the event, Kate and William twinned in shades of Christmas red as the space was entirely lit up and decorated with all things festive. Whereas, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry who are currently on a six-week break urged their followers to reflect upon the needy and underprivileged.

They wrote, “With the festive holiday season upon us, it’s also a reminder to reflect on those in need – those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones. It’s an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness.” They also urged their followers to suggest organisations which carry out significant work so as to shine light upon them. With the festive holiday season upon us, it’s also a reminder to reflect on those in need – those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones. It’s an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness. Continuing our monthly tradition of highlighting accounts that do good, and inspired by the “Twelve Days of Christmas” – we have selected twelve organisations caring for those in need – especially at this time of year. There are, thankfully, so many organisations around the world doing good on global and grassroots levels, many of which are not on Instagram. Check out the accounts we have chosen and please share those in your own communities that are making a difference. We would love to hear about the ones that inspire you – so please tell us and add your country’s flag! Images used are from the accounts we are now following.
