Niall Horan, 23, fueled romance rumors yet again while chatting with Los Angeles’ 102.7 KISS-FM on Nov. 30. During his interview with Ryan Seacrest, he revealed that he’s currently single and even joked about “sort[ing] it out” with Selena Gomez, 24. So, what does she think about his sweet comments? “Selena is flattered by what Niall had to say to Ryan, but part of her recovery involves no serious relationships,” “In fact, for the time being she’s been advised not to date. Plus, dating is pretty much the last thing on her mind now. She is focused on herself and spending time with close friends.”
Niall shamelessly confessed that his last committed relationship was about one year ago, noting how he “prefers” being single for now. Of course, fans had their hopes up when the 1D star and Sel embraced following his performance of “This Town” at the 2016 American Music Awards. It’s clear there’s nothing but respect between these two, since he also took to Twitter to compliment her empowering speech after winning Favorite Female Artist on Nov. 20. He wrote, “Really great show. Loved it. love to Selena for the speech, brave young woman.” Too cute.
