It's one of the most glamorous night in the showbiz calendar and tonight is no different.

While ITV’s Emmerdale continued its huge year by winning Best Aoap, Best Soap Actor for Ryan Hawley, Best Soap Actress for Charlotte Bellamy, and Best Soap Newcomer for Sally Dexter, Broadchurch was a big winner in its gripping final series. The show which explored the rape of a local woman in the seaside town  was named Best Drama Series, while David Tennant and Olivia Colman were named Best Actor and Actress respectively for their roles as DI Hardy and DS Miller.

Meanwhile, Little Boy Blue was named Best New Drama, with Call The Midwife being crowned Best Family Drama. Well, what else could win with all those babies involved?
Ant and Dec, of course, managed to get two trophies for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Saturday Night Takeaway, while the twinkle toed celebs of Strictly Come Dancing brought home the Best Talent Show gong. Soz, X Factor.

And while Mary Berry has been replaced by Pure Leith on the new series of The Great British Bake Off, the iconic domestic goddess was awarded the gong for Outstanding Contribution To Television. No word as yet when she’ll get the gongs for outstanding contribution to our cake addiction.
