Fall Ready-To-Wear London Fashion Week 2015 Collection by Fashion label Vivienne Westwood Red Label

Vivienne Westwood’s customer is a book-reading, art-appreciating, nature-loving, party-attending eccentric.

“The girl who wears Red Label — I want to tell you about her, she’s a bit like me,” said the designer in her show notes. This collection — a diffusion line, as Westwood shows her main one in Paris — was extensive, and there was something for every woman.

A prim librarian wore a blue plaid skirt with a khaki sweater, while an art student was decked out in roomy silk trousers in a pattern reminiscent of Gustav Klimt’s gilded paintings. She also wore an “Art Lovers Unite” T-shirt and a deconstructed cardigan, while a party girl sparkled in a gold sequined minidress and a pair of cat-eye sunglasses. A grown-up girl scout, meanwhile, donned a mink-brown skirt suit over a silk blouse with an exaggerated neckerchief-like collar.

Closing the show, Daisy Lowe played a modern punk princess in a bosom-hoisting metallic black-lace gown styled with a chunky choker and cuff in leather and chains.
