Lara Miller’s in her Spring/Summer 2009 collection designed wearable bamboo and organic cotton this spring 2010, Miller hit the fashion world with a totally different angle.

Lara Miller replaced her curvilinear shapes with geometric ones inspired from the architecture in Chicago. Boat neck ruffles cap sleeves, and buttoned up cardigans meet combined with shoulder baring cut outs and plunging necklines are all evident in this new collection. Dresses with a zipper than runs down the length of a skirt with a sleeveless dress and frock that flips backwards offer a second opinion to the clothes. Or a jumper with wide bottoms and a pair of hip-high pockets, stitched with versatile fabric straps twist and tie to give one dress a trio of options.

Lara Miller’s pieces are sultry and sophisticated. She focused on the knitwear and color blue, with white, gray, and a burnt mauve for her collection. She previously worked with a larger palette but this time she has cut the colors out. Knitwear is her obsession is creating knits for spring and summer is a challenge for her. Lara Miller’s necklaces are not even designed for one purpose. They can be worn as belts as well.
