For celebrities, life is often a beach. With the recent winter season just passed, where did some of our favorite celebrities take their vacations?

1. Solange Knowles
Younger sister of Beyoncé and singer in her own right, Solange decided to take a winter trip to Miami, where she soaked up the sun and frolicked on the beach. From jet skiing to riding a banana boat, the young musician looked like she was having a great time.
2. Gerard Butler
Ok perhaps celebrities just like the beach. Gerard spent his winter vacation in Miami too, trying to avoid paparazzi with his family as they enjoyed the warm sea and sunshine. Even on a beach surrounded by thousands it seems that unless you wear a mask, you won’t be able to enjoy a peaceful holiday.
3. Lindsay Lohan
Do any celebrities actually enjoy cold weather? Even Lindsay Lohan was spotted tanning it up in Miami. She didn’t get in the water once so maybe we’re getting further away from the beach now…
4. Jennifer Aniston And Courtney Cox
A slight change of pace now with the Friends actresses and real-life buddies. The pair holidayed together in sunny Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
Although they spent some time on the beach, they actually spent a lot longer in the restaurants and bars during the evenings, partying to up-beat Mexican music, and eating at some of the country’s finest restaurants.
5. Eddie Murphy
The comedic acting legend decided that a cruise was more his choice of vacation. He took out his own yacht with a collection of stunning ladies that seemed to enjoy his acoustic guitar playing skills.
At night they relaxed and watched the stars; now this is more of a relaxing vacation.
6. Beyoncé Knowles And Jay-Z
With no sign of their child anywhere, the A-list couple decided to enjoy a private reserve on a lake where they had fun jet skiing and spent time on water trampolines.
It certainly looked like great fun!
