After releasing two songs last month, Selena Gomez has announced she is rolling out an album. Earlier this week, the Lose You To Love Me singer teased “something exciting” was awaiting fans. The 27-year-old songstress took to Instagram to inform her 161 million followers that she is prepared to unleash a new set of songs. Selena shared a video with a montage of Lose You To Love Me and Look At Her Now followed by clips featuring Sel in the studio, working on the new music.
Selena shared the video with the confirmation that the album will be out on January 10, 2020. What a way to start the new year! She also revealed that the new album is a diary from her recent years. “You can now preorder my new album, out January 10, 2020. This album is my diary from the past few years and I can’t wait for you to hear it. Title, art and track list coming soon,” she said, announcing the album.
Anyone following Selena over the past few years would know the singer has been through a lot. From her health worries to her heartbreaking split from Justin Bieber, the past few years haven’t been kind to Selena. Given her tease, there are chances that her new songs could have many references to her relationship with the Sorry singer.
When Selena dropped Lose You To Love Me, fans went gaga over decoding the song and finding out Justin references. Imagine an entire album featuring the Canadian singer and her other struggles. We cannot wait to hear more details about her songs. Are you excited as well? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. As of now, Selena has named the album, SG2.
