Millie Bobby Brown has us rethinking our career choices. The international star is all of 15 years old and her single pay cheque is equivalent to what looks our lifetime savings. As we already know, Brown has been roped in to play the titular role in the movie Enola Holmes. The teenager will bring the story of Sherlock Holmes’ much younger sister to life. For the unversed, Enola is a detective, just like Sherlock. While we cannot wait to see Brown essay the role, a new report has revealed that she is being paid a bomb for the role.
A new TMZ report reveals the salary Brown will be receiving for her new role. According to the report, Brown has cracked a deal of $6.1 million with the production house for her new role. That is an estimate of more than Rs 60 lakhs in Indian currency. That’s retirement money! If that isn’t enough, the report also reveals Brown will be credited as one of the producers of the project. That will help her cash on an extra $500k. Her contract also lets her travel in a private jet. Wait, there is more. If the film gets a sequel, Brown’s bank balance would increase by another $7.5 million, minimum.
Feeling poor yet? We know we are! Brown has been seen in a couple of projects. Apart from being one of the main leads in Stranger Things, Brown was also seen Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Apart from Enola Holmes, Brown is expected to feature in Godzilla vs. Kong.
Enola Holmes is set to release in 2020. The movie also stars Superman actor Henry Cavill as Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Holmes.
