The couple broke up in 2018, and since then Cheryl has focused on raising her son with her ex Liam. The Fight For Your Love singer recently revealed that she was hoping to have another child via a sperm donor.
The thirty-six-year-old spoke about how she felt she was running out of time to find the perfect man and so wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of using a sperm donor.
Now according to New magazine, a source claimed that Liam fully supports the idea of his son Bear becoming a big brother.
The source shared that the ex-couple talked about the idea over Christmas.
Speaking to New magazine they said: ‘He gave Cheryl his full blessing – insisting he’d support her however he could and making her feel at ease with her decision by letting her know they’d be one big blended family.’
The source also claimed that Cheryl has ‘come to peace’ with the idea of using a sperm donor and she’s ‘desperate to fall pregnant with twins’ as she wants two more children.
In an interview with The Times back in December, Cheryl opened up about her dreams of becoming a mother again.
She said: ‘If time was on my side and I was in my 20s, I would wait and consider more options, or wait for somebody I felt was right.’
The singer said that she would choose a donor from ‘out of town’ so there was no chance of running into them in her hometown of Newcastle.
