Netizens Don’t Care About Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s Projects, Poll Shows

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly become “increasingly irrelevant” after leaving the royal family, a poll shows.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. They officially became non-working royals starting April 1.

Following their departure, Express created a poll asking readers if they care about Prince Harry and Markle’s new Archewell venture. The survey aimed to gauge the people’s support for the royal couple’s non-profit organization.

The majority of the respondents, which was about 81%, said that they don’t care about the Sussexes. Meanwhile, the remaining 19% said that they are still interested in Prince Harry and Markle’s endeavors.

The poll has also received mixed reactions from the respondents.

“This pair become increasingly irrelevant as each day passes,” one commented.

“Don’t care at all. Can we stop now? Can we forget about them and just ignore them? Please?” another wrote.

A few days back, Prince Harry and Markle announced the name of their new organization. When they were still working for the royals, their brand revolved around Sussex Royal. However, Queen Elizabeth II had prohibited them from using it after they decided to turn their back on their royal responsibilities.

The pair explained that the name Archewell was the inspiration of their son’s name, Archie. According to the couple, Archewell combines the ancient word for strength and action. However, Prince Harry and Markle made two major blunders when they announced their new nonprofit organization.

First, several claimed that they missed the opportunity to register the domain name. A number of netizens went on and searched for “http://archewellfoundation.com”  in the browser, only to find themselves redirected to Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” video on YouTube.
