Kate Middleton has ‘matured enchantingly’ into her royal role

Kate Middleton has been an official member of the royal family for almost a decade after her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

Over the years, she has rarely made speeches or headed events herself.

But that has all changed in recent years and royal experts are praising her evolution into the Duchess we see today.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams revealed how the Duchess who had ‘once seemed shy’ when in public has ‘matured enchantingly’ in recent years.

Speaking to The Express he praised both she and William’s response to dealing with the current health crisis.

Kate has a ‘strong sense of duty’ and is ‘deeply committed’ to her patronages, he explained.

He added that she had a particular commitment to those involving children and mental health charities.

Kate and William are currently in lockdown with their three children at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

But it hasn’t stopped them from carrying out their royal duties.

The couple has been taking part in several video calls with schools and frontline workers around the UK.

It comes after Kate and William joined their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis to pay tribute to the NHS.

The family of five shared a video of themselves clapping outside their home last week.
