Some of the snaps featured George in his white tuxedo with a flower pinned to his jacket pocket. He looked almost unrecognizable but by looking at the photo closely, one could immediately tell that it’s him becase of his trademark dark eyes and heavy brows.
There were also photos from his school prom at Augusta High School. In another shot, George can be seen with his baseball team.
According to George, his entry to Hollywood was an accident in a way because he never planned it.
“My cousin Miguel said: ‘You got to come to Hollywood to become an actor,’ and I said: ‘Okay’. That’s kind of how it happened. It was an accident in a way. I was cutting tobacco at the time,” Clooney shared.
George made it big in Hollywood. He gained awards and various recognitions for his talent, but it came with a price. Although he wasn’t perturbed by his popularity, he realized that it somehow restricted his life.
“What’s the guy in the big house on the hill got to complain about? The big house on a hill is isolating. There’s no other way to see it. There are restrictions to this kind of fame. I haven’t walked in Central Park for 15 years. I’d like to, you know?” Clooney told Esquire in a 2014 interview.
Clooney’s friend Grant Heslov said that he felt bad for George because the latter couldn’t walk down the street. He added that George’s friends were very protective of him. In fact, he admitted to having pushed the paparazzi out of the way when they were together.
In 2001, George purchased a villa on Lake Como in Italy. “The Midnight Sky” actor shared what he wanted to do whenever he’s in his Italian home. According to him, he would like to be out on his boat everyday and sit out on the lake and read a book, but he couldn’t do it like any normal people.
