How Kate sparked Instagram Meltdown Amid Emotional Vow

KATE MIDDLETON once sparked a huge Instagram meltdown after posting an emotional plea to her and William’s millions of social media followers.

The couple, who post on Instagram from their Royal Kensington account, asked the public for help to create a plan of action on how to raise the next generation of children in the UK. It reemerged during a time of great celebration for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who celebrated the birthdays of their two youngest children in the past weeks. The post was initially shared by the Cambridges back in January, and came during heightened tensions within the Royal Family, surrounding allegations made against Prince Andrew and his friendship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

But in a move to support families across the nation, Kate and William asked for ideas in how to support the country’s youngsters. It was hoped that people would get involved by filling in a survey, which would find ways for those under five years old to be helped. The aim was to bring together the feelings and thoughts of those with children.

It recognised that everyone has a role in ensuring strong, healthy foundations for the youngest in our society that will positively affect their lifelong outcomes.

In the post, Kate said: “Parents, carers and families are at the heart of caring for children in the formative years, so that is why I want to listen to them. “As a parent I know how much we cherish the future health and happiness of our children. “I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most.

“My ambition is to provide a lasting change for generations to come.” The survey was called ‘5 Big Questions of the Under 5s’, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hoping it would spark the biggest conservations on early childhood. And those on Instagram went wild with delight, with the post being commented on thousands of times.

One wrote: “Way to Keep Calm and Carry On guys.” Another said: “Your husband and your own parents must be so proud of you! “Your sincerity is so palpable!” A third added: “She does so much and always looks like she’s enjoying it too, making a difference.“ More than 100,000 people liked the post.

Kate and William have had much to celebrate in the past weeks, despite – like the rest of the nation – being forced to stay indoors due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. They saw their youngest son Prince Louis turn two years old, with Kate sharing a range of adorable pictures of the tot enjoying his birthday covered in rainbow paint.

The couple also marked their daughter Princess Charlotte becoming a five-year-old.
