Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Unlikely To Return To Royal Lives

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are unlikely to return to their royal lives after their exit.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. In April, they officially became non-working royals.

At present, Prince Harry and Markle are living in a secluded place in Los Angeles. The couple is reportedly occupying Tyler Perry’s $18 million mansion.

Royal experts shared that the Queen was giving the couple a year to explore the independence they longed for by announcing that she would review it in a year’s time.

“She has left the door open for Harry, especially the year of review was with Harry in mind,” Ingrid Seward said.

However, royal expert Marlene Koenig believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer return to their royal lives. According to her, Prince Harry and Markle have already made up their minds.

“Absolutely not, not going to happen. They have made their decision and the Queen has accepted it,” Koenig told Express.

She added that following Prince Harry and Markle’s departure, other members of the family would fill their place. Prince William and Kate Middleton are stepping up and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, is taking more responsibilities. Thus, the Sussexes are no longer needed.

“I do see, for example, the Cambridges certainly stepping up, taking on more,” Koenig continued.

“Obviously not right now, once we’ve passed COVID-19 and people are able to go out again and live far more normal lives. I also certainly think Sophie will be taking more as well. I don’t think they’re needed.”
