Here’s how Kate Middleton mirrors Prince Philip as the future Queen consort

Kate Middleton is supposed to be almost like Prince Philip in the way she stands by her mate, Prince William, much the same as her great grandfather-in-law stood by Queen Elizabeth during her reign as the ruling monarch of England.

This distinct resemblance was noted royal Penny Junor who said, “She’s never attempting to outshine him in any way. I feel that Kate is a little bit of resemblance to Prince Philip supporting the Queen. She doesn’t outshine William but at the same time, there is so much to say herself.

To support this, Sarah Gristwood, writer of Elizabeth: The Queen and the Crown wrote in her book, “In one sense hers and William’s was a contemporary royal marriage, in that it was an affection and love match. However, in another it has been old-fashioned. She mostly shows up as a strong and supportive figure to her husband.”

“Catherine is such a lady who will take on whatever she needs to,” a close source disclosed to PEOPLE. “If that she needs intensify to the plate, she does it and she generally has. She and William are an impressive and formidable team.”

Ruler William has also been open about depending on Kate for help. In May, the prince shared how he and his wife other navigate through difficulties and hard time together.

“Me and Catherine, especially, we support together and we experience those beautiful moments together and that we quite evolve and learn together,” he said in the documentary, Football, Prince William, and our Mental Health.

Talking about Prince Philip, as appeared in the seasons of Netflix series The Crown, he discovered that one of his most significant obligations as the King consort is to offer help to his better half, Queen Elizabeth.
