Princess Eugenie baby: Queen’s granddaughter welcomes her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank

So finally, a tot adds in the royal family. This time youngest royal of York Princess Eugenie has welcomed her first baby with husband Jack Brooksbank.

It was official announced by the royal family on their official Instagram page.

The post revealed where the baby was born, and that the tot’s grandparents are “delighted with the news”.

According to the Entertainment Daily, the post featured a picture of Eugenie and Jack at their October 2018 wedding. It revealed they are now the proud parents of a baby boy.

The caption read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 08.55hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present.

“The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz.”

The post continued: “This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York’s first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.”

It also added that the new mum was “doing well”.

It said: “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

According to Hello! magazine, Eugenie and Jack were privately congratulated by Harry and Meghan, given the pair no longer has an official Instagram page.

The new parents uploaded to Instagram a black and white image of their hands cradling their infant’s tiny fingers.

“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” the palace said in a statement.

The statement said Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, were “delighted with the news.”

Ms Eugenie married Mr Brooksbank, a businessman, in October 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
