Kate Middleton Might Be Delivering a Signal to Meghan Markle by Wearing This Accessory

Kate Middleton seems to have worn Meghan Markle’s beloved earring brand in an interview only a day after the Duchess of Sussex’s tell-all with Oprah.

Some fans believe this is the royal sister-in-law’s way of expressing her love for Meg—or is it just shade?

In a video released by Kensington Palace on March 8 for International Women’s Day, fans noticed the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, wearing a pair of pink crystal earrings. Duchess Kate interviewed rower Jasmine Harrison in honour of her record-breaking adventure across the Atlantic Ocean, which aired less than a day after Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview on CBS.

Although Kate’s interview topic wowed many viewers, others were more interested in something else completely: the duchess’ Missoma earrings, which also appear to be one of Meghan’s popular jewels brands. Regarding Meghan’s remarks during her tell-all about their flower girl dispute, viewers questioned if the accessory was a response to her sister-in-law.

During her interview with Oprah, Meghan, 39, announced that tabloid articles alleging she made Kate cry were false—and, according to Meghan, the reverse was true. “No,” when Meghan was confronted if she had ever made her sister-in-law weep, she replied, “The reverse happened.” The Duchess of Sussex went on to explain that the British media manipulated and played with the news. “If you love me, you don’t have to hate her,” Meghan replied. “And if you love her, you don’t have to hate me.”

Although, Meghan claims that Kate was sorry for upsetting her. “I don’t say that to be disparaging to anyone, because it was a really hard week of the wedding and she was upset about something, but she owned it and she apologized and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing, which is what I would do if I knew that I hurt someone. Just take accountability for it,” Meghan responded by telling Oprah.
