Rae, who has nearly 80 million TikTok followers because of her viral dance moves, appeared in a Tonight Show skit where she teaches Fallon eight TikTok dances. But many took to Twitter to point out many of the dancers were made by Black creators.
“This would have been the perfect opportunity for you to lead by example and in giving Black creators their due credit,” said one Twitter user. “This opportunity could have been huge for them. But no, you chose to display a white girl who’s already got a damn career doing this sh*t. This sucks, do better.”
