She is a warrior, wielding the twin blades of accuracy and truth. No challenge goes unanswered and her deadliest riposte is always against bad-faith actors and falsehoods. That’s why you don’t mess around with Jen.
If only the Fox tattlers understood this, they could save themselves a great deal of national embarrassment. Hill Reporter.com journalist Brandon Gage accurately headlined his report: “Fox News Tried Messing With Jen Psaki Again. It Went Badly for Them.” It certainly did.
PoliticusUSA recorded it for posterity.
Fox News tried to insert their lie that Colorado’s voting laws are the same as Georgia’s into the White House Press Briefing, but Press Secretary Jen Psaki shot it down. pic.twitter.com/uoXdOQAWO2

TRANSCRIPT:
Fox underachiever Peter Doocy asked, “Is the White House concerned that Major League Baseball is moving the All-Star Game to Colorado where voting regulations are very similar to Georgia?”
Warrior Jen promptly cut him down to size.
Well, let me just refute the first point you made. First, let me say, um, on Colorado: Colorado allows you to register on Election Day. Colorado has voting by mail where they send to 100 percent of people in the state who are eligible applications to vote by mail – 94 percent of people in Colorado voted by mail in the 2020 election. And they also allow for a range of materials to provide even if they vote on Election Day with a limited number of people to vote on Election Day.
I think it is important to remember the context here. The Georgia legislation is built on a lie. There was no widespread fraud in the 2020 election. Georgia’s top Republican election officials have acknowledged that repeatedly in interviews. And what there was, however, was record-setting turn out especially by voters of color. So, instead, what we are seeing here is that politicians who didn’t like the outcome here. They are not changing their policies to win more votes. They are changing the rules to exclude more voters, and we certainly see the circumstances are different. But ultimately, let me add one more thing. It is up to Major League Baseball to determine where they are holding their All-Star Game.
As the song says:
You don’t tug on superman’s cape
You don’t spit into the wind
You don’t pull the mask off that old lone ranger
And you don’t mess around with Jen
