The first-time Oscar nominee was flawless in a custom scarlet tulle ball gown by Giorgio Armani Privé. The plunging strapless creation hugged Amanda’s body and billowed out at the waist. Most of all, we’re LOVING the way she chose to match her gown with the red carpet. Iconic!

When it came to her accessories, Amanda pulled her hair back into a classic low bun, matched her red lip to her dress, and added Forevermark yellow diamond drop earrings. Her glitzy Stuart Weitzman heels topped off her look perfectly!
The full ensemble appears to nod to the era in which “Mank” was filmed (A.K.A. 1930s Hollywood). This might be the most stylish way to get ‘in character’!
The star last attended the Academy Awards back in 2013, where she strutted her stuff on the red carpet in a gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress–but her recent fashion choice is much more striking.
