She also urged her sisters to discuss the obligations that come with being in the spotlight more freely.
“All of us just need to have a bigger conversation about the beauty standards that we’re setting,” Kylie said, later adding, “I don’t want my daughter to do the things I did.”
Cameras also caught her opening up to Stassie Karanikolaou, saying, “I wish I never touched anything to begin with.”
According to reports, Kylie’s statements in the trailer have received a lot of praise from YouTube followers, who applaud her for finally speaking up about the beauty standards her family members set:
“Kudos to Kylie for finally stepping up to her sisters to talk about the beauty standards they’re setting. Didn’t think they’d ever mention that.”
“Good for Kylie realizing she doesn’t want Stormi to go through the same thing as her.”
“I never thought Kylie would call out the beauty standards they’re setting.”
“I really found the Kylie plot interesting…more than the rest.”
“Ok the only thing that didn’t have me rolling my eyes was Kylie’s mention of beauty standards…did not see that coming.”
Kylie recently spoke up about getting lip filler in an interview with HommeGirls.
“I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t!” she said. “I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”
This echoes what she said during a 2019 interview with Paper magazine: “People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I’m terrified! I would never. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.…It’s fillers. I’m not denying that.”
