Her outstanding collection garnered the top spot during the Anthos Graduation Show 2023 held in Florence on June 15. The decision was reached by an esteemed jury of industry experts, who were captivated by Giorgia Giannotta’s artistic vision and creative prowess.
The Anthos Graduation Show showcased the remarkable talents of the school’s finest fashion design students. It was a platform for these young designers to make their official entry into the fashion world, expressing their unique identities and style through meticulous research and experimentation.
The runway featured an impressive display of 24 collections, amounting to over 100 mesmerizing looks. Giorgia Giannotta, an Italian student in her fourth year of the Bachelor’s program in fashion design at Polimoda, emerged as the standout winner, leaving a lasting impression on the judging panel.
The panel included distinguished figures such as Lucilla Booyzen, the founder and CEO of South African Fashion Week; Lidewij Edelkoort, a renowned trend forecaster and founder of Trend Union and Studio Edelkoort; Bruce Pask, the men’s fashion director at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus; and Massimiliano Giornetti, the director of Polimoda.
