Lindsay Hubbard Shares the Challenges of Parenting Her Newborn Daughter

Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is getting candid about the challenges of new motherhood and the pivotal role her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, has played in supporting her through it all.

In the season 9 finale of the Bravo reality series, the 38-year-old opened up to castmates Amanda Batula and Paige DeSorbo about how life has changed since welcoming her daughter, Gemma Brit Kufe.

“Thank God for Turner,” Lindsay said gratefully. “I mean, he’s incredible, you guys.” Gushing about her partner, she continued: “The things that this man has done — he’s the best guy that you could be in this situation with.”

Lindsay didn’t hold back in acknowledging how becoming a parent has impacted her relationship. She admitted that her pregnancy played a significant role in keeping the couple together, told People.

“If I didn’t get pregnant, I don’t know if we would’ve stayed together,” she confessed. “Because for me, it’s like, you know, I wouldn’t have compromised.”

The couple’s journey hasn’t been conventional. Lindsay first announced her pregnancy in July 2024, just six months after rekindling her relationship with Turner. Their reunion came as a surprise to fans following a turbulent romantic history, but the pair seems to have found their footing with the arrival of their daughter.

“Turner’s by far the most private guy I’ve ever dated,” Lindsay told her housemates. “And I’m not really used to that. Like, this is weird, but we’ll see how it goes.”

She went on to reflect on past relationships and how her approach has evolved. “The last time I rearranged my whole life for a guy, like, look where I wound up,” she said, likely referencing her highly publicised breakup with former co-star Carl Radke.

The reality TV personality has been praised by fans for her honesty and emotional vulnerability during her pregnancy journey and transition into motherhood. Her reflections in the season finale offered a raw and relatable look into balancing a newborn, a relationship, and her identity under the constant glare of the public eye.

As Lindsay continues to navigate life as a new mother, viewers of Summer House will be watching closely to see how her story with Turner and baby Gemma unfolds beyond the cameras. For now, it seems Hubbard is focused on her family, supported by a partner she calls “the best guy” for this chapter of her life.
