HANGING OUT WITH ARMANI: Milan welcomed the new face of Giorgio Armani Parfums Friday night, as actress Cate Blanchett flew in from Australia especially for a cocktail party celebrating the upcoming launch of Sí, the new Armani eau de parfum. Blanchett and designer Giorgio Armani set off the usual round of flashing cameras as they made their way from the five-star Armani Hotel in Via Manzoni to the Armani Privé lounge next door. “We spent the afternoon together, which was really special,” Blanchett confided, saying she and Armani had been “hanging out, chewing the fat and taking a few pictures.”
She added that she always enjoys coming to Italy, where she has shot several movies. “When we used to live in London we were here quite a bit,” Blanchett said.
