Nadia Forde looked stunning at the BAFTAs this weekend and it’s hard to believe she’s still a single girl.
But the I’m a Celeb star has just been too busy for a boyfriend, travelling to Ibiza, Miami and Dubai in recent months to perform at parties and film the second series of her show Nadia Goes to Hollywood.
As a singleton ahead of Valentine’s Day, she has also been brought on-board to be the new ambassador for the new match.com #LoveYourImperfections campaign – and admits she thinks men are afraid to ask her out!
She exclusively told Mirror Celeb: "You don’t need romance these days, I’m still single. I suppose I have had more attention since the show but I think men are scared of me. They’re really shy. I literally have to be like, ‘Do you want to go for a drink?’ I’m like, ‘For God’s sake!’
"I’m not anti-Valentine’s Day but I think there’s a lot of pressure to be this perfect person and that’s why I love this campaign, you’re always putting on a front in the beginning and it’s important to be yourself.
"I’m spending Valentine’s with my friends and going home to host a premiere for the film the Wedding Ringer!
"I don’t know if I have an ideal guy, but someone who has their own thing going on, their own focus in life and independent with their own opinions. Not someone who agrees with me all of the time!
"I like someone with a good sense of humour and who I can have fun with. My ideal man would be Michael Buble, but I would never go after a married man and she’s beautiful!"
The 25-year-old star hasn’t had much action since her split from rugby star Luke Fitzgerald and hinted she doesn’t see much of hunk Jake Quickenden, despite their brief flirtation in the jungle, but she’s optimistic she’ll fall in love again in the future.
Talking about the new campaign, she said: "I haven’t done online dating yet, it’s something I need to think about but it’s a great way to meet people and who knows in the future? I’m open to having a relationship but it’s not at the forefront of my mind."
The Irish beauty, who set hearts races on the show, is putting the finishes to her forthcoming single Stuck and has been working with JLo’s producers on the song – which is set for release later in the year.
She also looked gorgeous at the BAFTAs on Sunday in a slinky white one shoulder gown with a very daring thigh-high split but admitted it was the "most nerve wrecking red carpet ever!"
Talking about her future plans, she said: "I really love that I’m able to do both music and TV, I just finished shooting the show I do back in Ireland which follows my life and I love that I’m in a situation that I kind be that little window into a different life.
"It’s not all glamour but I’m in a very fortunate position."
