Kim Kardashian takes a thrust in overwhelming black dress as she attends Time 100 celebration with father Kanye West

Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are among those being honoured as Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world. So no doubt Kim Kardashian had to pull out all the stops to celebrate being named to this prestigious list.

The 34-year-old star scintillated in a cleavage-bearing number while arriving at the 2015 Time 100 Gala in New York City on Wednesday.

The reality star donned a low-cut, patterned sleeveless black gown featuring sheer panelling around the chest while strutting on the red carpet of the event held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in the Big Apple. Her raven-coloured locks were pulled back in an elegant ponytail featuring a middle-part as she had natural, complimentary make-up on her face.

The 37-year-old rapper brought his signature style to the event as he wore a black velvet jacket and matching trousers along with what appeared to be a matching robe, smart white shirt and black dress shoes.

There was one awkward moment on the red carpet when comedienne Amy Schumer pretended to trip and fall in front of the power couple.

The 33-year-old Inside Amy Schumer star appeared to crawl around on the floor as Kanye seemingly gave her no reaction as he walked on while Kim flashed a wry smile. It was a busy night for Kanye as he performed a few songs during the gala event including his hits New Slaves, Black Skinhead, Gold Digger and new single All Day.

The rapper and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star are among those named individually as ‘Titans’ in the weekly as the rapper was even featured on one-of-five special edition covers for the Thursday April 16 issue.

The annual list is assembled by the American news magazine and has featured several big names since it was first published in 1999 including: Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton and Steve Jobs.
