Celebration of Creativity of British Talent

Fashion flock stayed uptown for a civilized soiree at Barclays in midtown. London Mayor Boris Johnson teamed up with chief executive of the British Fashion Council Caroline Rush for a celebration of all things British in New York. Joining in the festivities were designers David Neville, Misha Nonoo, Paul Andrew, and Peter Copping who mingled amongst It Brits including Alexa Chung, Jack Guinness, and Lucky Blue.

As guests such as Kenneth Cole, Steven Kolb, and Anna Scott Carter took their seats for dinner, Mayor Johnson and Rush spoke. Chic trio Katie Hillier, Luella Bartley, and Katie Grand took in the sweeping views, along with Sarah Rutson and Marigay McKee.

With several Brits, including the Marchesa duo and Victoria Beckham, showing in New York this season, think of this as the modern and very fashionableBritish Invasion.
