Emanuel Ungaro Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

One of the most hotly anticipated fashion shows of this week, Giles Deacon’s first collection for Ungaro who is bag, belts and fragrance designer, this week didn’t work out quite as we’d wanted since, due to the crowd of his fans, we couldn’t get in the door. Even if the reviews of Giles Deacon’s first show for the house as creative director aren’t the most exuberant of the latest collection of spring/summer season in PFW 2011, those things alone are a huge coup for a label that nearly self destructed after hiring Lindsay Lohan as artistic adviser. And Japanese Vogue fashion director Anna Dello Russo got to model in the show, looking awesome in underwear and a see through dress, with a goat looking thing hanging from her shoulder. Fellow models included Alessandra Ambrosio and Dree Hemingway. Though models ranged in age and appeal, they did not range in size due to be unveiled it’s designed by Giles Deacon, styled by Katie Grand, accessories collection by Katie Hillier and with Stephen Jones on hats Britain’s dream team in action.
