Kendall Jenner has officially eclipsed her older sisters in terms of high-fashion street cred. The 18-year-old model walked in the Marc Jacobs show on Thursday, rocking a short blunt wig, bleached brows and a completely sheer top. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has made the full-on transition from reality star to runway model – and her half-sister Khloe Kardashian couldn’t be more proud.
‘My baby sister killed it today walking in the Marc Jacobs fashion show,’ Khloe wrote, posting a collage of photos from the show. ‘Kenny you are so dope to me!!! Congrats my baby!!! #NYFW #MarcJacobs #ProudSis.’ Unfortunately, the post was inundated with commenters criticising Kendall for revealing too much. Ever the protective sister, Khloe deleted the post and took to Twitter to defend her sis.
‘She’s too dope for you 2 understand!’ she wrote. ‘Yall would trade places with her in a second! The hate is real! Lol bye haters!’ We have to agree with Khloe on this one – and we hope Kendall doesn’t let the haters ruin her big moment. ‘I don’t think some people take me very seriously,’ she told V magazine last year. ‘When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modeling and it wasn’t like, what I wanted to be exactly. I want to be more high fashion; I want to be more editorial, but hopefully I’ll just prove myself.’
