Models Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner stole the show at the 2014 British Fashion Awards on Monday night with their matching ensembles. Cara, 22, who won the Best Model gong, after going up against her pals, Jourdan Dunn and Sam Rollin, pulled out all the stops for the prestigious affair, held at the London Coliseum.

She wore a gold floor-length gown by Burberry which had black panelling and a sexy thigh-split running down one leg. She topped off her look with strappy black heels by the designer brand and carried a cute clutch bag in one hand. Wearing her brunette locks sleek and straight and over one shoulder, she paid close attention to her eyes, keeping them smoky and sexy.
Meanwhile, Kendall, 19, wore a slim-leg jumpsuit which had a leg-lengthening black stripe down one side. She teamed the number with mesh heels and added a slick of red lipstick into the mix.
Her long brunette tresses were down and sleek and cut into pretty layers which framed her face perfectly.
Hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, for the second year in a row, the awards are set to honour those who have greatly impacted the fashion industry.
Cara was thrilled with her Best Model award and was accompanied by her sister Poppy who delivered a speech on behalf of her successful sister.
She told the crowd: ‘Cara, ever since you were four, you told me you wanted to be Claudia Schiffer, while you were naked in the bath with a sponge on your head. Those eyebrows, long limbs and feline eyes.
You have captured the heart of the industry but to me you are more than that, the brightest star of my galaxy and model of the year.’
An emotional Cara added: ‘Thank you for everything to all of you I’ve met who have touched me and changed me and made me who I am. ‘I am nothing without fashion.
Sorry to everyone on a shoot when I played my music too loud and danced around. A lot of you believed in me more than I did so thank you for that.’
Poppy brought the glamour on the night with a plunging black embellished dress which had mesh panels near the hem and covered a pair of high-waisted briefs. She carried a clutch bag in the shape of a cat and topped off her look with an elegant pair of heels.
Pop singer Ellie Goulding looked incredible in a silver brocade strapless dress which had white panels near the top. She wore her blonde locks to one side and accessorized with a mini black clutch bag and silver drop earrings. But she wasn’t the only singer making waves on the night – as Nicole Scherzinger wowed on the arm of the F1 boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

She looked incredible in a one shoulder grey patterned dress which had a ruffled detail around the neckline. Actress Tamsin Egerton walked tall in a red peplum skirt by Natasha Zinko which she wore over a white sleeveless top. While true professional, Twiggy, rocked a historical look in a velvet waistcoat, frilly shirt, androgynous suit and white brogues.
US Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour looked incredible in a black and white dress, teaming a white fur collar over her shoulders. One Direction star Harry Styles brought some masculine appeal wearing a very smart pinstripe suit by Lanvin for the occasion.
While male model David Gandy perfected his pout on the red carpet wearing a sharp suit, complete with bow tie.
