Celebs’ glam squad members have told us exactly how they created those stunning 2015 Golden Globe red carpet hair and makeup looks you drooled over last night–which means with a little help from our step-by-step guide you will know how to mirror each look in less than 24 hours. Not kind-of-copy either, you’ll be able to completely replicate each look down the precise lipstick number, eye shadow shade and curling iron used.

Allison Williams
Makeup artist Gianpaolo Ceciliato rimmed Allison’s entire eye with black pencil. Then he applied Giorgio Armani Eye Tint #1 (black) and #7 (gunmetal) onto her lid. He completed his smoky eye effect by using Eyes to Kill Quad #11 on the lid and added a light beige shadow to the inner corner of the eye and on the brow bone. Her lips were coated with a glossy neutral tint, Lancôme Shine Lover lipstick in Twisted Beige.
Famed celeb hair stylist Renato Campora continued the Old Hollywood glamour theme by creating a faux bob with retro waves. After curling Allison’s hair (toward the face) with a curling iron, Campora pinned each ringlet flat to her head and waited for tresses to cool. Next, he brushed out her mane and shaped the waves using Wella Professionals Stay Firm Finishing Spray and Wella Professionals Smooth Brilliance Shine Pomade. Finally, he tucked the bottom of her hair up and under by the nape of her neck and secured with bobby pins, thus creating a faux bob.
Lupita Nyong’o
To achieve the rainbow of purple on her eyes, makeup artist Nick Barose used colors from Lancôme eye shadow palette in Jacaranda Bloom. Plus, he added more hues by applying the brand’s eyeliners in Aubergine and Amethyst. Her lipstick was Lancôme Color Design in Hit List with a glossy layer of Lip Lover in Framboise Etoile on top.
Jessica Chastain
We can’t make your hair look as amazing as Chastain but we can help you copy her style. Start (as her hairstylist Renato Campora did) by working Wella Professionals Elastic Energy Mousse into damp hair and then blow dry tresses using a round brush. Then use a 1.5 inch curling iron on only the bottom portion of hair to create large curls. Next, apply a small amount of Wella Professionals Smooth Brilliance Shine Pomade to fingertips and smooth down the front of the hair for a sleek finish.
Emily Blunt
Hairstylist Laini Reeves for Birchbox wanted a youthful updo for Emily. So she started by applying Malin+Goetz Sage Styling Crème to the actress’ damp locks. Then she power dried the mane and worked in Serge Normant Dream Big Volume Spray before French-braiding each side along the outside, down to the nape of the neck. She finished by simply criss-crossing the plaids and pinning with bobby pins.
Amal Clooney
For Amal’s first Golden Globes, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury went for a classic look. She used the pop shade from her own brand’s Luxury Palette in The Dolce Vita across the lids and added depth with Rock ‘N’ Kohl Eye Pencil in Barbarella Brown. Her cheeks were dusted with Cheek to Chic in Love Glow and First Love. And finally, her crimson lips were a mix of Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Savage Rose along with Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Night Crimson and Matte Revolution Lipstick in Red Carpet Red.
Jennifer Lopez
Makeup artist Mary Phillips was the genius behind the Jennifer Lopez‘s ultra-glam makeup. She kept the focus on the stunning smoky eye by leaving the lips nude (created with Giorgio Armani Smooth Silk Lip Pencil #1 and the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Lip Color in Neverending Nutmeg). Her eyes were comprised of L’Oréal Paris Infallible Smokissime Powder Eyeliner in Brown Smoke with a touch of the taupe, gold and brown hues from the Infallible Eye Shadow Crayon.
Gina Rodriguez
The Golden Globe winner kept things simple with minimal makeup and soft waves. For the latter, her hairstylist started with the application of Joico Power Whip on damp hair before the mane was blown out with a round brush. Joico IronClad Thermal Protectant Spray was spritzed onto 2 inch sections before a 1 1/4 inch curling iron was used to make waves.

Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee highlighted the star’s natural beauty by adding a flush with Chanel powder blush in Rose Bronze. She brought out her eyes with the brand’s Quadra eye shadow in Tisse Rivoli. The actress’ pout was punched up a bit thanks to Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour in Etienne.

Hair stylist Laini Reeves started by applying the Oribe Volumista all over Amy’s mane. Then she used a curling iron on 2 inch sections to create a ringlet that she then set with a roller and pin to hold. She misted some Oribe Shine Light Perfecting Spray and let it set for about 20 minutes.Then she gently brushed out the waves with a soft bristle brush.
Emma Stone
Makeup artist Rachel Goodwin highlighted Stone’s pretty peepers by swiping Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner in Black Shimmer along the top lids and Quadra Eyeshadow in Tissé Riviera along the bottom waterline. Her lipstick was Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in HD Iris.
Naomi Watts
Hands down, Naomi’s rosy lips wins as one of the best pouts of the evening. Makeup artist Mary Wiles takes credit for creating the striking retro-glam look, applying L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Lip Colour in Infallible Red.

Makeup artist Carola Gonzalez rimmed the Scandal star’s eyes with a glittery gray eye shadow and applied a sheer berry shade to her pout.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum
Makeup artist Jake Bailey created this fresh-faced look by adding tint to her cheeks with Pür Minerals Chateau Cheeks Cream Blush in Coy and Nars Loose Powder in Beach. Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder in Candlelight was added to the bridge of her nose, cheekbones and brow bones to boost her natural glow. Next, Bailey used several shades from the Pür Minerals Soul Mattes Eye Shadow Palette to create the eggplant shade on the lid and the taupe shade around the edges. Pür Minerals Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipstick in Georgia Peach and a dash of the Chateau Lip Gloss in Scandalous, made up her pretty pink pout.
Bridget Brager created Jenna’s textured waves with Biolage Styling Blow-In Control, Biolage Styling Thermal Active Setting Spray and a medium-size curling iron.

Katie’s not always one to embrace edgy beauty looks, so this violet smoky eye is the perfect compromise. Makeup artist Genevieve Herr achieved the look using a Laura Mercier soft kohl eye pencil, and dusted a blend of amethyst and black Lancôme eye shadow. Topping off the look, Herr opted for faint nude lip.
Celebrity hairstylist DJ Quintero took the reins on the actress’ flirty pony tail, brushing Alterna Haircare oil throughout her damp tresses and then blow-drying on high heat to create a deep left side-part. After applying a heat protect spray to her dry hair, Quintero flat-ironed from root to tip and made a low ponytail at the nape of her neck, wrapping several pieces around the base and securing with bobby pins to disguise the hair tie.
Reese Witherspoon
The Oscar winner’s longtime stylist Adir Abergel created effortless waves by first applying a mix of John Frieda Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray and John Frieda Root Booster Blow Dry Lotion on damp hair. After blow-drying her tresses, Adir used a 1 ¼ inch curling iron to create the beachy texture and brushed all the locks over one shoulder, securing with bobby pins.
Anna Kendrick
It would seem Anna borrowed her Into the Woods character’s subdued regal glow! Vanessa Scail gave the actress a rosy sheen using Dolce & Gabbana raspberry cheek color and an illuminating powder. For her saccharine gaze, Scail used a kohl eye pencil on her upper eyelid and the brand’s liquid formula on the bottom, finishing off the eyes with thick mascara and a petal pink lipstick.
Julianna Margulies
To create Julianna’s flushed raspberry glow, celeb makeup artist Molly R. Stern used Elizabeth Arden’s cream blush in Pink for a subtle flush. For her earthy rose eye makeup, she defined the actress’ crease with a dark shadow, and then blended a cream blush and pink eye shadow (Elizabeth Arden eye shadow in Truffle, Sparkling Sable, Romance and Tempting Taupe) on the lids, finishing with smudges of black liner. Her glossy pink pout (the brand’s Pretty Pink) completed the look.
