No one has done more for the red carpet sneaker than Kristen Stewart. The actress—who famously broke the Cannes Film Festival’s “no flats” rule last year—likes to pair runway looks with sporty trainers and always errs on the side of comfort. Though Stewart may don stilettos when the mood strikes her, it isn’t unusual to see her kick them off the moment a photo op is over.

Such was the case at tonight’s London premiere of Charlie’s Angels, where Stewart arrived in a tartan Thom Browne look from the designer’s Resort 2019 collection. Worn with a leather jacket and a Nike classic Cortez running shoe, the look was an instant win.

Stewart and stylist Tara Swennen get creative when it comes to meshing designer pieces with the actress’s signature style, and though she dresses in some of fashion’s biggest names, Stewart maintains an effortless sensibility that amps up every look. With her ever-present Jillian Dempsey lock necklaces, sneakers, and winged black liner, Stewart was in her element.
