She may be the daughter of INXS rocker Kirk Pengilly, but model April Rose Pengilly looked more like a rockstar herself at the launch of H&M’s Melbourne store. The 25-year-old stepped out in an edgy ensemble on Thursday night, with maroon thigh high boots that showed off her killer pins on the red carpet.
She teamed them with a heavily tasseled top in a matching shade of red wine, with her brunette hair cascading in waves down her shoulders. She was one of the fashion highlights at the star-studded event, which included the likes of indie rock girl group Haim, David Hasselhoff’s daughter Hayley and former swimmer Michael Klim.
The Sydney-based blogger was clearly excited about the event, taking to social media to talk about flying down to Melbourne with girlfriends Caity Caulfield and former Big Brother contestant Tully Smyth. The trio flew to the launch together, with Pengilly sharing a snap on her Instagram of the ladies settling in for the flight.
‘Plane party for #hmaustralia with my blondes @caitycaulfield and @tee_smyth’ she said. Smyth hardly left her side on the night, appearing in many of Pengilly’s social media snaps and even posing up with her ex-boyfriend, fellow Big Brother alumni Anthony ‘Drew’ Drew. The tall blonde famously broke up with her girlfriend during the show for a shot at romance with Drew, before they too split once the reality series had ended.
There seems to be no hard feelings between them, with Smyth playfully adding under a shot of them together: ‘This guy kept begging for a photo… #hmaustralia #latergram’.
