Supermodel Miranda Kerr has performed her first official duty as brand ambassador for H&M, appearing at the chain’s Fashion Week show in Paris. The 30-year-old looked like the belle of the ball in a long black brocade gown and matching heels as she attended the store’s Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 2014 show.
Her princess-style look was completed by an array of dazzling diamonds. The Aussie model was named the new face of H&M earlier this month, replacing Gisele Bundchen after she herself was replaced by Daria Werbowy for Mango’s latest campaign.
The former Victoria’s Secret angel posed for photos with other celebrities including Jessica Alba and Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles. She posted a selfie while sitting in the front row of the show on her Instagram account. In addition to currently fronting campaigns for ShopStyle, Clear Scalp & Hair and Swarovski, Kerr will star in H&M ads this spring; her first gig modeling for the retailer.
‘International supermodel @mirandakerr is our #HMSpringFashion model! Look out for exclusive photos in March!’ revealed H&M on its Instagram account on February 4. The model’s new gig coincides with H&M’s arrival in Australia, where it will join international fast fashion chains Zara and Topshop which have already set up shop in Melbourne and Sydney
The full campaign won’t be released until March, but two photos posted by H&M show Kerr in a pastel pink, off the shoulder blouse with a billowing gypsy vibe. Certainly, it seems life for Miranda Kerr is looking up since announcing her separation from Orlando Bloom in November last year.
The mother-of-one, ranked one of the biggest style stars of 2013 by WhoWhatWear, also holds second place in Forbe’s highest earning models list for 2013.
