Judge and creative director Nathalie Colin said: “Swarovski are excited to support the Scottish Fashion Awards for the fifth successive year. It’s a wonderful event whose key aim is to support and nurture talent, which is one of the key aims of the Swarovski brand. Our catwalk show this year will be one of our biggest and most exciting to date. I can’t wait to come back to Scotland for yet another glamorous red carpet and to see what impressive new talent Scotland has to offer.”
Scotland’s most prominent broadsheet and newspaper group The Herald and Times Group will be an official media partner once again, showcasing the very best of the nominees in the weeks leading up to the event in June across all their titles including The Herald, Sunday Herald and The Evening Times.
Founder and Chairman of the event Tessa Hartmann said: “It’s a big step for us to move to this impressive venue that is The Clyde Auditorium, but year on year we receive so many requests from young fashionistas all desperate to attend this global event. So for the first time the whole of Scotland will be able to witness the wealth of creative talent we have here, supermodels, fashion personalities and revel in our wonderful heritage, along with a fabulous night of top entertainment from pop stars, catwalk shows and of course the exclusive Swarovski runway. We are delighted to welcome our incredible judging panel flying in from across Europe, Australia, USA and Dubai all contributing to our aim of placing Scottish fashion talent on the global map.
