“It’s always got to be the most difficult thing you can imagine, whether it’s, like, a Beef Wellington — which, I didn’t even know what that was until I met you,” Blake said on From Apple Music With Love, a holiday special podcast.
“The fact that you wanted to make a tradition out of… it’s almost like an anti-tradition because a tradition is something that you’ve done your whole life, and that you keep repeating,” shared Gwen, adding: “But you keep trying to not repeat and make something new again and again and again. And that’s your tradition.”
However, Gwen also revealed that she often feels like she may “get in trouble” breaking her parents’ traditions.

But she thanked Blake for “pushing me to find new creative ways to feed our family”. The couple kickstarted the holiday season with a wonderful Thanksgiving together with her family.
“It’s a tradition, my whole family flies out, and we have not been back there since the Wedding,” she shared earlier in November. “So, I’m really looking forward to it. We have a new house there, we have a new life there. So, it’s going to be our first married Thanksgiving, very grateful, very excited.”
