Two years on from their royal resignation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly “loving life” as a family of four in California.
In the time since their departure from the United Kingdom, the Sussexes welcomed their second child, Lilibet Diana in June, appeared at multiple events and on talk shows, and have won a monumental privacy battle with a major British newspaper, among other career achievements.

According to Daniel Martin — who did the Duchess of Sussex’s makeup on her wedding day in 2018 and for several public appearances since — however, the couple is still trying to find the right “work-life balance.”
“They are loving life as a family of four. They’ve struck a rhythm as a foursome,” Martin, who also did Meghan’s makeup for an appearance in New York City in November, told People.
“It’s about finding that work-life balance now, which ties into Meghan lobbying for parental paid leave. They’re experiencing it themselves. They know it affects everyone in the family.”

The Duchess of Sussex has been quite vocal about the importance of paid parental leave in the United States, saying at the New York Times’ DealBook Online Summit in November: “We can all agree that people need support certainly when they’ve just had a child. Paid leave, from my standpoint, is just a humanitarian issue.”
