Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got more trapped after leaving their senior royal posts to gain freedom, a royal expert said. Over one year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their royal lives, a royal expert saw their U.S. move as something that brought more pressure.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe compared the lives Prince Harry and Meghan have now to the ones they had before. For him, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are more trapped due to the complaints about the royal family.

“If freedom is being able to say what you want, when you want, to whoever you choose to speak to, then Harry has found a degree of freedom,” he told Closer Online. “But if freedom is having goodwill behind you to live in peace, being able to live life as you want it, or being at peace with the people you’ve rowed with, then freedom has not been achieved.”
Larcombe noted that the Sussexes noticeably isolated themselves since Megxit happened. He also talked about the Duke of Sussex’s damaged relationships with the royal family following his simultaneous destructive interviews.

Although Prince Harry began receiving therapy for his mental health, the royal expert suggested that the best way to heal is to fix the relationships he has with his family.
Unfortunately, the duke did nothing but damage his ties with the members of the monarchy. He will put more fuel to the fire once he releases his book next year. Because of this, Larcombe alleged that the prince would no longer feel free and at peace, due to the impending backlash he would receive.
The same royal expert disclosed how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex try hard to be financially independent as they fear failing in their new lives. Larcombe explained that the couple’s recent deals – including the ones with Netflix and Spotify – only prove how they cannot afford to fail again.

“With these deals, there’s tremendous pressure on Harry and Meghan to deliver and make a success of their life in America,” he explained. “They’ve caused such an uproar – for both the royal family and in the media – that they don’t really have the option of failing. It would be the ultimate humiliation.” Netflix also made it clear that if it is not happy with the production, it may refuse to give the Sussexes a contract extension.
