Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer relevant to the British people after Megxit as the public is more interested in other members of the royal family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are among the most popular members of the royal before they stepped down from their royal duties. However, their popularity has continuously dropped after they moved to the U.S. One royal commentator no longer wanted to talk about them because they are no longer relevant.

The members of the royal family are busy. Prince William just voiced a BBC documentary about climate change. Prince Charles curated some films for the steamer. And last week, the Cambridges, the Prince of Wales, and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall attended the No Time to Die world premiere.
When Dickie Arbiter appeared on Radio Times, he told the publication he would not discuss the Sussexes.

“As far as the UK is concerned, they’ve become an irrelevance,” he said per Express. “I think people are more interested in how the rest of the family is operating.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s popularity has also continuously dropped. In fact, in the recent YouGov poll, his approval rating in September dropped from 43 to 34 percent. Markle’s approval rating also plummeted from 29 to 26 percent.

According to Forbes columnist Guy Martin, it was probably because the British people have already stopped believing what Prince Harry says. Another probable reason is the couple doing tons of various activities that leave people confused as to what they really want.
Prince Harry was dubbed the “spare” just like Princess Margaret. His older brother Prince William is the “heir” to the throne. Before he met and married Meghan Markle, the duke was a third wheel to the Cambridges. However, he was very popular and at one point was even more loved by the public because he was more relatable due to his being free-spirited.

Harry would often join Prince William and Kate Middleton in various engagements. He only stopped joining them when he married Markle. The two royal siblings also eventually decided to have separate households.
In January 2020, the Susssexes announced that they would be stepping back from their royal duties. They moved to Canada and stayed there for a couple of months. But they decided to settle in California.

Following their decision to leave the royal family, their popularity has also dropped.
Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, said magazines featuring Harry and Markle no longer sells. When the royal couple was featured in the Special Edition Walkers Shortbread treats last year it also did not sell.
