Star Magazine, in its upcoming Jan. 24, 2022 issue, reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had high hopes for a happy and “lucrative” future in California following their exit from the royal life in early 2020. However, two years later, it seems like things are not panning out exactly as they planned.
An unnamed insider claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are losing money fast due to canceled projects and overspending. The parents of Archie and Lilibet could allegedly barely maintain their super lavish lifestyle.
The source told the magazine:
“Projects they’ve been working on have been canceled or postponed, which they blame on the pandemic. But, there’s a big gap between their income and their spending. They’re on their way to going broke.”
Life away from the United Kingdom has reportedly not been cheap for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The royal family stopped playing for their security, including Archie and Lilibet, the moment they decided to step down from their roles as senior royals.
It is claimed that their detail is approximately $3 million a year. Reports also have it that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shell out a significant amount of money when they travel “because they won’t settle for anything less than 5-star hotels.”
All of the said expenses have allegedly led Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to go into a financial hole. The tipster claimed:
“Harry’s up to his eyes in credit card debt – to roughly $480,000.”
The informant added that, while Prince Harry came into the marriage with an inheritance from the late Princess Diana, he has also burned a significant amount of money from the nearly $10 million she bequeathed him.
The same insider spilled:
“Meghan’s warned Harry to curb his spending and they’ve gotten into fights about it. But she clearly enjoys the fancier things in life, too. [Meghan’s] wardrobe and jewelry is worth well over $10,000,000!”
Harry Turning To Prince Charles Again Amid Financial Crisis?
Now that Prince Harry has realized that he and Meghan Markle has lost a lot of money. The Duke of Sussex has, allegedly, been asking for help from his father, Prince Charles.
An unidentified source stated:
“When Harry was a royal, he’d go on massive shopping sprees, glamorous vacations and buy everyone drinks and dinner at expensive London restaurants. I don’t think he even saw his bank statements because royal assistants and bankers would do everything for him. The idea of budgeting doesn’t register with him.”
It furthered that:
“[Prince] Charles founded Harry’s lifestyle, so he really didn’t have to think about money. But that came to a halt when Harry and Meghan left the royal family behind.”
Now that no cash is coming in, the tipster said Prince Harry turned to Prince Charles again. However, his please have reportedly fallen on deaf ears even after the Prince of Wales praised his son in an essay he wrote for the Jan. 4 issue of Newsweek.
The informant claimed:
“He thought his dad would agree to it after the Newsweek article, but for Charles you’re either in or you’re out of the family. They’re going to have to fend for themselves.”
Both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to comment on the reports about them having financial troubles in the United States. Hence, avid followers of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should take all of these unverified claims with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
