Like her stepdaughter Ivanka, Melania seems to accept Trump by saying that she is still not welcome in New York City and will likely never be able to live there again. At least not without feeling like a total outcast.
Several media reports that the ex-FLOTUS and her son Barron will live in Mar-a-Lago in Florida for at least another year, possibly longer.

The news comes amid reports that 15-year-old Barron will be attending Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach next school year after a news item sent to parents earlier this week leaked to the press.
“We look forward to welcoming him to our school and community,” said preparatory school director Scott Siegfried in a statement after the story emerged.

Early that summer, Melania (without her husband) was spotted looking happy and driving around Manhattan for the first time since leaving Washington, DC in January.
She called the city home for most of her adult life, first moving there in 1996 and then adamantly refusing to leave after her husband became President of the United States.

It wasn’t until six months after his first and only term in office that she reluctantly agreed to abandon her stylish New York City lifestyle and accept her fate as a DC political wife and now a Florida homemaker who lives in a retirement community golf club.
Last month, a source told People that Melania “isn’t stupid” and “knows how to manage her life to make it as fulfilling as possible for her.”
